The “White Chateau” was originally a royal Przemyslid castle from the beginning of the 11th century; later it underwent a Renaissance and a Baroque restoration a Empire-style modifications. The neo-Gothic “Red Chateau”, an entrance gate a the White Tower were added in the 19th century. There is an adjoining English park. The White Chateau is currently under renovation; however, certain rooms are open to the public, such as the splendidly furnished state salons a rooms for social occasions, along with elegantly appointed guests’ quarters.
