Can you imagine a campground where you only see your children when it’s time for a snack or lunch? Yes, these campgrounds do exist in the Czech Republic.
One of them, Camping Oase Praha, focuses on families with small children. It is located 5 km to the south of Prague and thus, it is suitable for relaxation and as a starting point for trips to Prague and the surroundings. From the campground, Prague can be reached by public transport. There is a bus stop outside the campground.
The campground also offers visits to Prague with a guide and a boat trip in English, German, Dutch and Danish.
Besides an indoor and outdoor swimming pool, there are also big new playgrounds for children, trampolines, swings, a cable car and, of course, a sandpit with facilities for small children on the premises. Regardless of the weather conditions, a mini-club is available. The smallest children will find a table with trains, Lego and huge soft foam cubes there; bigger children can play foosball or other various table games. There are bobby cars, scooters and three-wheelers available free of charge on the premises. Older children and parents can rent specially modified pedal cars.
During July and August, animation programs for children are organized. Your children can make e.g. crocodiles from beads, paint their own T-shirt or participate in the Olympic Games or in evening battle games. There is also a campfire, sausage-grilling and competitions with remote-controlled cars. Little and big ones can experience how hard it was for Native Americans when they wanted to hunt something with just a bow and arrow.
Accommodation is available in nice, fully equipped mobile houses, in double and triple rooms or you can spend the stay in your own caravan, living van or tent.
Guests who like to visit various interesting places and attractions can take advantage of a book (in several languages) with trip tips that will satisfy even the most demanding travelers.
