Don’t miss out: Enjoy knight’s horse tournaments at Dětenice Chateau. You will see knights in shining armor on horseback. The atmosphere will transport you to the times when knights fought for pride, glory and the love of beautiful ladies. You will see beautiful horses, knights, flags and forfeits, fighters on foot and on horses, stunt events, costumes, several types of birds of prey and training and hunting in various historical periods.
In bad weather, a covered tribune is available for 450 visitors. Possibility of refreshment.
Every day from 5.7. – 26.8. (except Monday), from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m.
At the same time, you can visit the actual chateau between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. You will see 14 fully furnished rooms, taste and lifestyle of aristocracy at typical 18th-century country manor. Also the park, medieval pub and cellar are worth a visit.
