The Dendrological Garden covers an area of 72.8 hectares and concentrates nearly 8,000 species of plants. The most significant local collections include collections of rhododendrons, ornamental apple trees, lilacs and spiraeas, which are the richest in the Czech Republic.
A unique set of climbing, landscaping and old varieties of roses is grown here. Collections of pines and spruces are also numerous. Planting of trees is accompanied by extensive planting of perennials and bulbs.
The garden is open 2014:
from April to September every day except Monday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (last visitors will be admitted at 5:00 p.m.).
