On the place of a citadel, rebuilt in the 14th century into a Gothic water castle, a large Renaissance chateau of the Pernštejn family, reconstructed in the Baroque style by F.M.Kaňka. After 1920 the dilapidated chateau restored by the Museum Union. In the recent years demanding restoration. Sizeable fortifications with round canon bastions and a fortification with loop holes. Above the entrance gate a plaque with the relief of a heraldic legend about the foundation of the Pernštejn family from 1511.
