Alfrédov is one of the longest golf courses in the Czech Republic. Covering a total area off 55ha, situated in picturesque countryside bordered by woods and water, with a hundred year old lime tree alley running through the grounds. Due to its low elevation and favourable climatic conditions, Alfrédov is able to offer a never-ending season of golf by remaining open all year round. This means that you are welcome to visit the Plzeň region’s “Mecca of Golf” and play anytime.( During the winter it is, however, advisable to phone and check the current conditions before setting out .)
Location
Alfrédov is located about 3 km. from Exit 107 ( Střibro )on highway D5 ( 20 minutes by car from Plzeň – direction Rozvadov ) Take exit 107, turn right at top of exit ramp, through the small village of Ostrov u Stříbra , turn right towards Kostelec and the entrance to the course is about 1km.down this road on the right hand side. The course is also easily reached from the other district towns of Tachov and Domažlice.
