Zlatá Koruna is a small village at the river Moldau. Its Cistercians monastery was founded by King Přemysl Otakar II. in the year 1263 and was annihilated in 1785. It is possible to visit the monastery. The visitor’s route takes you through the oldest part of the monastery, the chapel of the Protecting Angels. There is also an exposition on South Bohemian literature to visit.
