Originally a Gothic castle from the turn of the 13th and the 14th centuries, rebuilt into a Renaissance chateau of the Žirotín family, enlarged in the Baroque style (the fortifications), adjusted in the Late Classicism for F.A.Magnis. Recent adaptations for the museum purposes. An English park. Historical interiors with period chateau installation, salons, a rich library and others. Folk instruments in the Czech Republic-the only collection of that kind in the middle Europe.
