The royal town of Beroun is located about 30 km southwest of Prague, at the junction of our trading capital of the western parts of the country and Germany. The old trade route replaced highway D5 and the railway linking the city with Prague, Pilsen and Rakovník. The town lies at the confluence of the Berounka Litavka and entices you to visit not only for its historical monuments and rich cultural and sporting offer, but also its beautiful surroundings. It is starting in two protected areas - the Bohemian Karst and Křivoklátsko.
