The zoo is situated in a picturesque valley of the Jihlávka river. In the area there are water areas, forested slopes, meadows and rocks; all this in the vicinity of the town centre, about a 10 minutes´ walk. The “zoo without bars” is the home of 150 exotic animal species, including species endangered by annihilation. The zoo specializes in breeding felines, monkeys and reptilians.
