                           An extensive Renaissance residence with a mediaeval core; damaged in a 1773 fire, restored at the beginning of the 20th century. Between 1976 a 1994 the chateau underwent extensive renovations. A Renaissance garden. Frescoes depicting scenes from the life of St. George from 1338, paintings by the Master of Žirovnice from 1492, paintings by Raimund Paul from the end of the 16th century, the so-called Madonna of Jindřichův Hradec painted on wood from 1460. The rounded garden pavilion, the Rondel, served for musical entertainment.
